State of the Internet
Description:
The Internet is one of the most transformative innovations in human history. By democratizing access to information, the Internet has revolutionized how we exchange ideas, conduct business, and connect with others. Indeed, the Internet has become the lifeblood of our global society.
The Internet operates based on voluntary standards, best practices, cooperation, and trust. However, this immense technological transformation has also brought about new challenges, raising questions about how to ensure that the Internet remains globally accessible and trusted. New technologies and geopolitical developments threaten to undermine the very system that governs the Internet.
Yet, there is hope for the future. The Internet continues to evolve, and so must we. It is our responsibility to continue to develop an inclusive, multilingual Internet for the next generation. Together, we can ensure that the Internet continues to be an incredible force for good.
